My dad had a shotgun growing up but I don't think I've ever seen a gun up close without it being on a cop's holster, oh yeah and that one time the cops thought my friends and I were shooting real guns at each other instead of airsoft guns and they snuck up on me and put a real shotgun in my face and screamed at me to drop the weapon. I'll never forget that gun, I got very familiar with what the barrel of a shotgun looks like from a very short amount of time it was poiinted in my face. That's actually probably the biggest reason why I'll never own a gun personally.
