When Keynes died he was worth more than $100 millions in today's money. When Hayek died he was broke having moved to Germany to be near his library he had sold to a university to make ends meet. Keynes knew what he was talking about. Hayek's ideas were nothing but academic, theoretical nonsense that nonetheless seems intriguing to naive undergrads across the western world.
