Main reason why portuguese are all brown in the team is because there is A LOT of brasilians players who come there to play in Porto and Benfica (or other less prestigious clubs), that is the entrance for most brasilian in european footbal scene.
In the process they often are naturalized, mostly because they can profit from some advantages (like free circulation=not needing a visa) and are not counted as "extra communautary" when they are recruited (which are limited by the UEFA).
Most portuguese are not brown, they are meditteranean looking but not nig nogs.
