Deutsche Bank traditionally only had german CEOs, then in the 90s they first began to hire some guy from Switzerland (who did a somewhat decent job), and after him they first hired an indian CEO who turned out to be completely incompetent, and now, they have an ANGLO CEO.
The anglo CEO of course immediately started to sabotage DB by exhanging their assets for derivate WMDs. He sold DBs physical assets and stockholder shares to foreign anglo banks and received completely worthless paper derivatives in turn.

Do you even know what effect size is? My example shows a dramatic effect on the left because the author manipulated the scales. But if you actually take a look at the data the decline is not so drastic.

There is a crisis. You have no growth due to demographics and trade imbalance between eu nations causes further problems. Currency devaluation wpuld reduce debt load and spur growth but you can't due that with the euro.
