There are only two aisles in a modern American grocery store that are not made up of processed corn and/or Soy: The fresh meat section (not including the deli) and the fresh produce section. These tend to be on the far ends of the grocery store.
Everything between them is weird processed shit disguised as real food. Anything that is canned or frozen or bagged is likely shit. Most dairy products are the same.

I went to Ethiopia , while I wouldn't want to survive off it. Their native cuisine isn't bad to an experience, it's like this giant pancake the size of a pizza pie and they put lamb , rice, chopped tomatoes , sauce, and peppers on it and you rip off the pancake and use it to grab the toppings and throw the whole piece in your mouth.
