Stop wearing so many dark colors. I like to think of classic architecture in the same manner as mens fashion.
In other words, colors that highlight the individual features of the outfit through their contrast, but blend to make an outfit as a whole.
Classic architecture can't just be taken in at one glance, it keeps the eye moving. your outfit should be the same. Avoid dark colors.
