What is Trump's strategy, exactly?
He's been botching every opportunity lately to gain advantage over Hillary.
The media narrative is increasingly about how he's unfit to be president.
He needs to do something, fast, to play offense instead of defense.

But seriously, his strategy is to win, plain and simple. The media despises him and he's using that to his advantage. Hillary will break during the debates, and trump will treat her like the dog xhe is.
Note the power dynamic that the media has already set up for us. We call Donald Trump by his last name and Hillary Clinton by her first name. That's very respectful of trump and demeaning of Hillary. They've already set her up to fail.

There really isn't anything to do at the moment. He gave that anti-Hillary speech a week or so ago which was very well received - Oh except by CNN who said it was bad for some reason, which is usually a good sign.
People in any movement don't seem to understand, there isn't always something that really needs to be done. The reality is things are going pretty well for Trump - Every ad Hillary puts out backfires on her. Every time the mainstream media shits on Trump, it backfires. Nobody is buying these recent poll numbers, we know they're done by leftist organizations right outside the welfare office, and then they're like LOOK TRUMP IS LOSING EVERYBODY LOL.
Bottom line, as we get closer to November more things will happen, just be patient.
