Don't know if you've done this already, but you should have an "emergency fund" set aside with enough money to live off of for 6 months.
This is in case something unexpected happens like you wreck your car or get laid off at your job.

I bought 5000 £ for 5.6 lei/pound when it was 6.2 just a week ago.
