This would be a great first step to ensuring Hong Kong independence sometime in the future!
Neve going to happen, we will want to trade with the Chinese and they won't be happy if we start to take Hong Kong back. Although I suppose the US and Russia could support it from the shadows in a hope it has a ripple effect on China.
