Is anyone feeling really DEMOCRATIC right now.

> Popular uprising Brexit vote.
> Corybn removing champaign socialist Blairites which is ruining the working class Labour vote.
> Everyone telling Theresa May that she is an opportunist coward and no one wants her for Prime Minister.

I wonder if Farage knows what unprecedented, beautiful chaos he has created.

This is the perfect political shake-up the country needs.

So this is the latest bullshit that's doing the rounds. Apparently not triggering article 50 is because nobody actually wants to leave the EU. Who'd a thunk it?

And not because putting off triggering it gives us more room to maneuver which is what Brexiters have been saying for months.

I know that for the first time in my entire life I felt patriotic towards Britain. It made me realize that in 30 years I had never had a moment of pride in my country, nothing to make me feel like Britain was worth saving.

Until 23rd June. This is it, lads. Britain has awoken.

Some of my family lives in Boston, its such a shit hole, I am surprised the leave vote was not more than 75%.
>>
>>78774303
I know what you mean

The referendum has engaged tons of people

Leave voters feel great because they actually got involved and changed something

People who didn't vote feel stupid because a huge decision took place without them

Remain voters feel cheated because they didn't mobilize enough support

Everyone is involved

Feels like the country has woken up from a coma

Well the referendum has shown that a pretty motivated majority of the electorate don't have representation in parliament, other than a few rebel tories. It's going to be really hard for them to get anything done from such a position of weakness.

But on the other hand, there's a huge popular mandate up for grabs for anyone who wants it. So if boris is an opportunist i'd expect great things.

Anyway whatever happens osborne has to go.

Mate you're younger than America you're still genetically basically British. All the street names near me are British towns nobody has ever mentioned my accent, meet British/Irish people constantly, you have the same brands, same food, beer, spirits. I'm legitimately curious here.

Say the Scotts got out, stayed in the eurozone,

What would happen when they suddenly got their own immigration quota from germany?
I doubt the happy smiles would last.

Same thing happened here in Copenhagen when the super rich part of town refused to join the capital komune and suddenly acted stunned when they got their own slice of shit pie in the form of refugees, years ago.

I thought Singapore kept their Muslims in line though, so to speak? The lack of bennies is one thing but I thought they were pretty harsh on all things criminal out there too.

There's a few, saw a man and woman in full Muslim dress the first day I was here, fucking burka style shit, but it's not too common. I'm from rural Wales though so, seeing any pakis at all is weird for me. I got to Aus through HK earlier this year and remember being genuinely shocked at the number of towel headed darkies were on the plane from HK to Aus, considering there was literally one English black guy and the rest Asians on the trip from UK to HK.

We have a representative democracy. Much like the USA. Only 52% of voters wanted to leave the EU and nearly all the MPs were voted in on a remain in the EU platform.

They can't now all just go "Oh hey Cambridge, you voted stay by an overwhelming margin and elected this socalist EU lover, but some cunts in Sheffield said we hate the EU now so your vote is meaningless."

They need a general election now.

The Conservative party is shell-shocked and reeling from its civil war. The Lib Dems are finished. The British people are finally waking up from our nightmare, eager to see what the future holds and try something new. Labour should be running away with it at this point. They should be up by 30%. They should be setting the agenda.

But somehow, they've managed to not only miss an open goal, but score a hat-trick of own-goals, and tear every ligament and muscle in their body while they're at it.
They have successfully become more chaotic and broken than the Tories. What a fucking joke of a party.
They've lost touch with Scotland, Wales, the North-East and the Midlands. They are literally a London-centric party now. They're 100% fucking FINISHED as a party. There's no way back for them now.

Thank you, based Sir Nigel Farage.

Sturgeon doesn't have to worry about it.

Scotland can join the EU without obtaining voting rights, similar to Iceland. The Icelandic economy is fully integrated into the EU, they follow EU regulations and trade agreements.

Or...

Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland can form a confederation (the Gaelic confederation), this will give Scotland membership by default.

Honestly I think it's because Singapore actually has proper border control. You don't get in here if you're an extremist, and just one Allah Akbar gets you shipped back across the Strait of Johor.
So yes, they do keep the Muslims in line, but it's mostly because they only let the lukewarm ones in to start with. Malays are pretty chill in general too, they'd rather sit in the shade munching a mango than wage jihad.

The political suicide part was due to the overall outcome that was predicted in some other posts and it is not likely the Tories would be voted again for the next election.

>thinks migrants come to the UK for benefits.

If you believe a Lybian sitting the Sahara Desert says, I'm going to risk my entire family's lives to get £70 Job Seekers allowance in sunny Enland, you're an idiot.

They come to the UK because: 1, the English language is an international language of business. It's the first foreign language many people learn, and its a left over from our Imperial past.

2. immigrants don't need ID cards to get a job. We're the only country in the European continent that doesn't require ID cards to work. Immigrants only have to get here, then they can disappear.

If the Immigrants were after benefits, they'd go to Holland, Denmark or Germany. They're much better there.

Libertarians are globalists, mate.

There's a good reason Hitler didn't call himself a "National Capitalist", he knew Capitalists were the enemy.
