Did anything change?

Your mom got uglier.

yeah he went from alive to dead
That was fucked. I think it was near the same year the faggot Clinton-run .gov gave them most favored nation status.
I don't think much has changed, except there are fewer visible protests.

The man's balls tripled in size
They killed them all and then killed anyone who talked about it. Their kids then became the princeling caste who make up 97% of China's ultra rich while their government moved ever closer to totalitarianism. It's fucked up.

Officials claimed he was alive, but no one heard from him ever again. Who knows.

Rare
Also, OP Yeah, censorship happened after this.
The government put out ads ordering people to report those who were in the square, siblings reported siblings, parents reported sons and daughters
the government then ran tv spots celebrating those who turned in their family members.
The guy in the pic works as a teacher afaik, he is alive, but he is not allowed to talk about the incident.

bumping thread with rare tank mans
he got run over, but we all got transported to another universe where he just danced around and nothing happened. kinda like berenstein shit.
PRC killed 10000000 chinese people
He told them tanks for not running me over. They told him Game of Thrones spoilers and cut his dick off.
They put flashing lights on tanks after that so you knew they were in a hurry.

Their families had to keep quiet for their loses so not many of them went to identify their relatives
Some of the students escaped to the US

Yeah. Things got worse.
But it was an extremely tense set of days. The PRC was on the very verge of a civil war then. If I recall the 27th Army was the one who brutally took the square, and were largely out of province rural troops, and the 36th, from the district, was extremely sympathetic to the revolutionaries. State and news reports mentioned that the 27th had taken up positions in the Square as if they were bracing for an attack.
>tl;dr if some brave soul fired their gun, the PRC would have descended into total civil war in 1989
