Really makes you wonder
>>
>>78695887
This meme is the most intellectually lazy ones around, so I'm going to say it clearly:
>About 30% of the UK didn't get a vote

That's about 19 million people, it's conceivable that a lot of these people were too young (others would just not have met the requirements to be given a vote) so it's completely reasonable (fuck its to be expected) that the number of people googling "what is the EU" surged.
>>
AHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAA
MY FUCKING GRANDMOTHER EVEN KNOWS WHAT IT IS
AND HER GRANDMOTHER IS ROLLING IN HER GRAVE AT THE STUPIDITY OF THESE PEOPLE

HAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAAHHA
>>
>>78696507
well, the turn-out was about 75%, so those people may not have voted out of laziness (not because they were too young), hoping notihing will change. Now they are pissing their pant, scared of what happens next.
>>
>>78695887

This is the biggest meme yet. I'm sure it was a top search for weeks. Non retards had plenty of time to inform themselves and vote.
>>
>>78697081
>well, the turn-out was about 75%

I think it was closer to 72%. But what I'm saying (just in case I wasn't being clear) was that only about 44 million people got a vote in the referendum, there's about 64 million people in the UK as a whole, so that means there was about 18 million people that didn't get a vote, that's about 30% of the UK.
>>
>>78695887
And why do you all think they voted Leave? Maybe it was millennials that didn't vote, or as this gentleman says >>78697601 those who were too young. Some would have obviously have been Leavers, but there is no reason to assume they necessarily were in the majority.
>>
>>78695887
Well, it can't be the older folk (since most of them don't use the Internet).
>>

it is pretty hilarious. it angers me because lots of normies on normiebook think its the brexit people searching it when there is literally NO evidence that supports either the leave camp or remain camp searching this bollocks

EU suck and all, but this movie is so bad that was even disowned leave camp
>>
Keep in mind the 65+ aged voters who voted majority to leave don't know how to use Google.

On the other hand, the 18-24 who voted majority to remain, are quite fond of googling stupid shit.

This is fucking fake. They're saying it spiked based on less than 100 searches. That's less than .001% of the population. This is just an attempt to drive a narrative by the kike media and the company Moot now works for

Isn't it beautiful how leaders of this world created democracy, a system where you pointlessly vote for loudest jackass on television who never sticks to promises and nobody really gives a shit. Seems like this lack of political education in this numb democratic system bitten the elite, when all they wanted is to keep population dumb. Now the population is too dumb and it actually works in favour of population. Little worker ants have spoken.

It was a huge mistake and I regret choosing that field every single day. I don't even work in politics.
But of all things, I'm certainly not ignorant about the EU. At the very, very least, I know a lot more about it than some twatty D-list slebs and 6th formers.
>>
>>78696507
that’s not 19 million people.
Out of 65m people, about 44m were eligible to vote.

So 28% (of 44m) that didn’t show up to vote translates to 12.3 million people.

I think he means people too young to vote, like 10 year old kids who don't know what the EU is really. So they google it cause everyone is making a big deal about it.

>>
>>78695887
Who do you think is most likely to

1. Not know what the EU is
2. Use Google to look up the answer

Then you will figure out who is doing this.
>>
>>78701896
Neat. I'll have to take that into account. Still, they were searching "tea" at roughly the same percentage they were searching "what is the eu."

Not keen on saying too much since it's a pretty narrow field, but TV production.

So you are working for the BBC and ultimately the 16 year olds on Twitter have won; I can't imagine you being openly Leave there.

Or ITV.

>So you are working for the BBC and ultimately the 16 year olds on Twitter have won; I can't imagine you being openly Leave there.

The BBC is cuck central, but trust me, if someone even gave a coworker a dirty look for having the "wrong" political views, they would get dragged to court faster than you can say "Jimmy Savile cover-up". Not to mention how quickly it would get leaked to the likes of the Mail. They would be more scared of me than I would be of them.

But I don't work there, I'm self-employed.
>>
my high school teacher from England is very disappointed at the result because she’ll probably have to renounce her UK citizenship in order to stay here, because for some odd reason Slovenia doesn’t allow dual citizenship.

UK citizenship is a lot more valuable, so I guess it will be a very hard decision for her.

That’s one part of the "leave" outcome that’s really sad.

I have to use the past 7 days now since it's another day later, but yesterday, euro 2016 followed "football" almost exactly. Still way higher than "what is the eu."
>>78702774
In the Washington post article, they elaborated that "among searches about the EU, 'what is the eu' was 2nd at one point in time." Fucking yellow journalism distorts this to make people think it was the most searched term overall. Combined with the fact they only list these huge percentage increases (but without actual numbers), it further reeks of bullshit.

i find it hard to believe there aren't permanent residency visa options
>>
>>78703526
Of course there are.
You would have to be a complete degenerate to not be able get a visa in the UK
>>
>>78703526
i’m not sure. I just checked her fb page because I wanted to know what a Brit who I know thinks of referendum.
She keeps commenting that she may have to renounce her UK citizenship. Perhaps she hasn’t thought of the permanent residency visa option yet, or maybe she doesn’t meet the criteria.
