Yes it does. Allow me to take the bait here: OP's graph says "how many pounds makes a euro", so the inverse of it is the value of the pound against Euro.
So as you can see from the graph, the value of GBP has dropped in comparison to Euro. Thus I sincerely have no idea what OP is trying to mock about.
