my family is strictly scots irish. I had ancestors on the mayflower on both sides. probably some unknown incest. I had ancestors fight in the revolution, the civil war, every war since.
no recent admixture that I know of. My most recent European ancestors came over in the Mormon migration.
I don't know that it matters at all.

My uncle traced our family tree back some way, the furthest he got was a house servant to some noble family in skipton...so Im guessing i got a smidge of noble blood in me, for whatever that means, and a tiny bit of irish in therer too.

I can tell you my ancestors are from Wales, England, Germany, France, Denmark, Ireland and some were native. I'm about 1/16 native which I think is generally what most Americans are. Outside of that, I can't tell you when I got here. Most Americans are Mutts.
