This is really my only problem with it. If you're mainlining testosterone and can function as on par or exceed male physical standards then more power to you, but I'm not convinced that the military should be bankrolling sex changes. I don't think the military will see very many, if any transgenders - the vast majority of transsexuals are histrionic and very egotistical and self-preserving, completely and utterly without any sense of nationalism or duty, if they did join the military it would specifically be for non-combat roles in office spaces, in which case women and plenty of men do that to begin with anyway.
