Why are teenagers crying about old people voting? Are they really so full of themselves that they think they know more about the world and governing a country than people with decades of life experience? If anything I would be happy to give my right to vote to only people who are +50 years old. Whatever happened to respecting your elders?

They're scared to admit there's about 50% of their own generation that actually hates their liberal fucking guts and wishes they would move back to Africa with their pets.
>>
>>78535471
People with any experience in politics voted remain.
Fads and memes will always win over reason though.
>>
>>78536248
Is that why all the old people voted leave?
>>
Its not the generation, its youthful ignorance. See Mao era China
>>
>>78536248
>People with any experience in politics voted remain.

People that want to retain the regressive status quo, with all its problems and corruption voted Remain.
>>
Old people are irresponsible and should not vote, they compromise our future. They are the main obstacle to a global government with their romanticized and retarded view of nationalism.

National sovereignty is an obsolete idea, our global economy has bring us peace for the ties it has build between us. Old people don't understand this because they are unemployed and don't read the news.

Soylent Green when?
>>
The best part is, when the last referendum took place for Scottland I believe, everyone was complaining that the old people fucked that up and voted stay.

Now everyone is complaining about old people fucking up and voting leave.

Make up your minds and respect your elders, faggots.

50+might be a little extreme but I agree. I think nobody under the age of 35 should get the vote, unless they are combat veterans.

That's dumb nigga. 25% of them are senile and can't vote. The rest doesn't care enough to vote.
We should only let taxpayers vote. Plain and simple

Because they think that a degree in liberal arts, women studies and some other bullshit gives them the upper-hand. They think they know the world better. The irony is, those people are usually the most dense, since they will eat up and spew out the shit their marxist professors tell them, or they will get a failing grade.

They're an entitled bunch that are becoming even worse than boomers were. They think the world is some hippy paradise where everyone will fall in line and hug each other in a big orgy, if only big bad mean white men stopped oppressing everyone. The delusion is staggering with those people and the most upsetting thing is that they generally don't know what they're fighting for. Look at the US election. Alot of the voters for Bernie, as an example, are students. They can't even describe what fucking socialism is. Why? Because everyone has to succeed. Everyone has to make it in this world according to them. Everyone has to get a degree. To get it studies are becoming more and more dumbed down across the board for all fields. Because it's "oppressive" if it's actually too hard to reach academic heights. So they don't get any valuable information from their degree and then they will follow and lick up the person that promises them free shit. They are used to people giving them free shit and patting their head for failing. Because you "can't fail, it's all just FUN, stop oppressing me" in their minds.

If anything, I wish you could only vote if you pass your countries history exam and a political exam. Maybe even raise the minimum age to 21.

Nothing pisses me off more than this backwards generation.

I think we should institute a system where human civilization lives in a sealed city contained beneath a cluster of geodesic domes, a utopia run by a computer that takes care of all aspects of their life, including reproduction. When you reach the age of 30(which is tracked by a "life-clock" crystal in the palm of their hand that changes color as they get older and begins blinking as they approach their "Last Day."), you have to undergo the ritual of "Carrousel" where your body is vaporized. Problem SOLVED

close to half of people 25-49 voted leave. it's not "just old people". also it's amazing that leftists can get away with disrespecting old people so blatantly. if people with not many years remaining apparently shouldn't be allowed to vote, then why don't they want people with fatal diseases banned from voting?

what even is the "cut off" that they think should happen for voting? you couldn't even get a proper consensus, it would be so arbitrary.

leftists are barbaric idiots, the vast majority of them.

when it comes to voting on things of consequence, that will have far-reaching effects for decades to come, I don't really give a damn about the opinions of people who are going to be dead in a few years.

this Brexit vote reshapes the future of youth in the UK and their elders who they should have respect for have no respect for them.

whatever happened to leaving a better world for your children to live in? Why should you vote for what you want when you arent going to be here?

how about we also not allow poor people to vote?

This generation of liberals are literally indoctrinated the moment they enter the Public Edjewcation System into believing that the words of Jewish comedians are more "truthy" than the real-life experience of anyone. Only (((trustworthy))) sources must ever be used for (((news))) and your own parents are stupid racists. They're trained to immediately and violently dismiss any viewpoint that isn't vetted by (((them))) first.

You have to break them early to control them, and the Jew has grown incredibly efficient at it.

Some young people feel smarter than they really are. The butthurt on pleddit this morning was unbelievable :

https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/4pm7vl/how_old_people_have_screwed_over_the_younger/d4m312h

> The 18-49 year olds that have gone through higher education and been thought critical thinking with better education systems thought that way.
> The baby boomers are looking at things through rose tinted glasses about a time before the EU and think they know better as they usually do.

I'm beginning to support the idea you should earn your right to vote through service and/or paying taxes. Over-educated neets BTFO.
>>
>>78538374

so,they have to vote the way you want them to, essentially defeating the purpose of democracy and not really being any different from not allowing them to vote, besides the fact that you can wrap it all up in a nice little progressive package so that you don't seem like a fascist.

fuck you, globalist scum.

>The greatest wisdom is to realize one's lack of it. Constantin Stanislavski

The issue here is that they think they know everything and how everything would be better under their control when they're the most manipulated and controlled group of people ever. People who are older who have wisdom to realised all the points and angles have decided to vote leave for the future of Britain and not to further some globalist cause pushed on by facebook and social media.
>>
old people are nostalgiafags though, and think it's possible to go back to "the old good days"
>>
>>78538028

Yeah... tell that to everyone 40+ who said "Don't vote for Commie block Trudeau, he'll be exactly like his Father and put the country 2 decades into debt in his first 6 months".

Old people, right once again.

All the young people voted him in. They literally destroyed (or at least completely crippled) the Canadian culture/economy for the next decades to come, not the old.
>>
>>78539125

that's still stupid though, you might as well say low IQ people can't vote instead. regardless, my point is you can't be a democrat and then say certain people shouldn't vote, especially when the supposed purpose of leftism is to empower the poor, so why make the poor (or the old) targets of derision when they don't vote how you like? I feel like some people here are trolling.

It's not just your generation - the young and impressionable always form the dedicated core of revolutionary movements promising to create heaven on earth if you'll just listen to the wise leader.

What's impressive though is the PR talents of the EU leaders.

They're all just as old and out of touch and unwise as all the old people who shouldn't be allowed to vote. But their plans are Wise and Good and The Way Of The Future an all the smart young people believe them without question.

Someone somewhere has done a grade-A job on the propaganda for their side.
>>
>>78535471
It's almost like their inexperience in dealing with the real world is causing them to make poor decisions
>>
>>78539485

Young people are retarded, they've always been. Not every old fart is smart but it helps to have been around long enough to remember what got better and what got worse.

Of course collectivism appeals to the young, free shit bought with other people's money is always nice until you have a job and start paying taxes through the ass.

Young people just naturally think they have the world figured out by the age of 25. They often are the least informed with an obvious lack of real world experience.

If older people are guilty of anything. It is the naivety of believing politicians will follow through with their promises. They grew up in an era of honor and integrity.

Membership in the EU guarantees those kids will never get jobs too. They all want to be computer scientists or doctors... guess what all your jobs will be taken by 2nd world cheap academics from Spain, Poland and Romania.

Their real estate prices will inflate so much from foreign speculation none of them will be able to get a house either, permanently renting property to foreign offshore landlords.

Globalism is a cancer that enriches a tiny elite
>>
>>78541362
old people thinking "i don't want my grandchildren growing up in a country fileld with sandniggers" isn't the kind of progressive and forward thinking they need

young people want job and travel oppurtunities, something provided by membership in the EU
>>
>>78541650
isn't that a mainstay of fascism though?
"i know what's tright, and I'll enforce it with this gun, and if you disagree i'll put you in a re-education camp"

i love it. that's exactly how i'd run my fascist government. and the world would be a better place.

the way you say it it sounds more like rome electing a dictator temporarily. you wouldnt support citizens who want a dictator all the time, because that's not good

The boomers were more extreme than the millennials back in the day. Inform the young leftists they're going to wake one day as racist, gay hating, corporate whores and there's nothing they can do about it.
>>
>>78535471
OP, you have to understand that these kids, all the young people complaining about racism and shit, are crying because they want so desperately to change the world and leave their mark. I mean, every generation before them has had that one thing that defined them as a generation, and their generation hasn't managed to really identify themselves yet, at least insofar as they believe.

It's just a shame that they're going to be remembered as the bitter generation of adult-children that attempted to ruin western civilization in their desperation to identify themselves as a generation.

But not every generation can be a winner, I guess.
>>
millennials are atheists

as such, they don't believe your 80 year old granny has a soul. she is simply a collection of arbitrary atoms that have come from random mutations and random evolution, which was all initiated by a big bang of everything, that came from nothing.

when you hold this belief, it is perfectly reasonable to think "person X is a pensioner, they serve no economic benefit to me. they are of no objective value. they should be expunged from the planet"

thank the Lord that this vote came when it did, because you can see the generational shift from wholesome people made in the image of God, to arbitrarily evolved millennial apes who only care about their gender and number of twitter followers

in 20 years time, millennials will be running this world. just imagine what Soviet shithole Europe will be. at least we've left the EU before the worst comes
>>
>>78542840
western civilization will be remembered as the charred corpse from which globalozation and a global identity rose, and the generation that kills it will be hailed as visionary heroes

True.

The long view of history compresses entire centuries to a few notable details and discards the rest.

The west already lost its vision a generation ago. Post colonialization will be regarded as a brief era of technological development dotted around amid total self-destruction of old world cultures and archaic nation states.
>>
Japan is going to implode because of its debt because the politicians are too scared of losing the elderly vote

Same thing will happen in the UK - the economy will decline but everyone will demand the same historical level of entitlements and then the deficit will balloon.
>>
>>78546671
The west in toto had no grand vision and that's why it will not be remembered as a period of note.
You're right about what it will be remembered for: a time of technological advancement and political stagnation, a world whih had lost its way after the old empires broke down. A period of chaos leading into a renewed period of unification and hope.

Right now, we've got nations still trying to be empires, lone wolves attenpting to do what's best for them and them only, a will of the people who don't understand that the world doesn't exist "over there" anymore, it's everywhere. We're all inextricably linked.

And once we start acting like it, a new era will dawn.
>>
>>78535471

>>
>>78549501
>but they at least know how to seek out information
Yea, like googling "What is the EU?" on the day after the referendum :^)
>>
Ironically, and this is the case for most liberals - the part of their brains which is capable of actually free thought isn't fully developed. They get almost all of their 'open-minded ideas' from sheltered cuck professors and the jew controlled media / politicians ect. But they are fully capable of hubris and naivety. These people, who get all of their ideas from supposed 'authority' figures are often left stunned and terrified when actual free people get their way and successfully turn the tide away from the safety of their (in this case) little EU babby crib.
>>
We live in the information age. How many of you have met anyone under the age of 60 who thought Obama was born in Kenya? Who thought the earth is 6000 years old? Who thought that global warming is fake?

Old people are willfully ignorant, for the most part. Don't feed me that 'experience' crap, as their experience contains almost nothing about macroeconomics. And most of that experience came in a world that was drastically different than our modern one.
