It's broadly true, but a benevolent global government is incompatible with the globalist neoliberal economic system, since it relies on exploitation of the majority of poor countries by a small number of rich ones. Unless this is fixed, no global government will solve anything, since it won't be able to represent the interests of the entire humanity.
