I live in Boston and bike 5 miles on two of the busiest streets to Cambridge for work, it's pretty fun but I've noticed that the absolute worst drivers as far as staying in your fucking lane are brown people. Knocking down signs, covering the bike lane 4 car lengths early to take a right, etc.
There are a lot of really trash cyclists out there who don't have the operational skills to ride a bike effectively to not fuck over the people around them unfortunately, but having rode a bike and driven a car in the city I'd say the car is far easier convenience and focus wise even with plenty of cyclists on the road.
