They do a polygraph test and if you say you've ever smoked weed regularly in your life you're disqualified.
This shit about doing it no less than two years ago is only concerning rare use. As in, you've only smoked weed three times and it was three years ago.
If you say oh yeah six years ago I smoked weed every day for like three years, you have no chance in hell.
