Why can't atheists entertain the notion that God created the molecules that create the chemical interactions they speak of? Maybe God laid the foundation for reality and let it run its course. I hate this. Science is a technical process of analyzing the external world. It cannot, and should not, make value determinations. And frankly, the more people deify science, the less "scientific" their processes become. Because then when you criticize someone's methodology or propose a theory that runs counter to the dominant consensus, you aren't trying to introduce new ideas and improve our understanding of the world.
