They should stop calling it Yoga. I think some place in the US banned "Yoga" because actual Buddhists or some shit got mad over them stealing the name
Modern yoga was introduced to the Indians by the british as a blend of gymnastics and calisthenic routines.
The "yoga" the yogis practiced was nothing like what you see in yoga, but more like what you would see in a carnival freak show.
Yoga is actually shown to be psychology beneficial. All the spiritual junk attributed to it is probably bullshit but a healthy body is necessary for a healthy mind.
I do 5 minutes of it every day.
It is more just like a non linear stretching routine. Recommend it to all.
