This template only goes back a couple generations so I have all American flags.
My mother's side came from Ireland to the Connecticut area in 1764, my father's side came from Ireland to south Carolina in 1830 something.
My mother's side then went to the midwest and stayed there until close to the 1880s and then came to southern California where my mother was born, along with myself.
My father's side became a quite prolific family in the south, with a series of plantations and farms throughout the Carolinas, the Mississippi delta, and east texas, with the most hisorically significant plantation being in northwest Mississippi. This plantation became a breeding ground for blues musicians and is acknowledged by many as being the birth place of blues music.
