I was born in Germany to 100% German parents, but I identify as an American.
I believe that there are people who were born in the wrong country, who, maybe because of a past life, have their home in an entirely different part of the world. I know that I'm not supposed to be where I am right now, it just doesn't feel right.
But I'm too afraid to actually visit my real home country. I'm afraid that I will be disappointed, that it doesn't feel like I expected.
Sometimes I think I should just kill myself and maybe reincarnate in the right place. But what if it doesn't work that way?
Also why can't I get citizenship if I believe that I'm rightfully American? I wish there was a "transnational" movement.
