Yes
my job doesn't pay well, but I'm low maintenance in general so I save a lot of money and have disposable income for whatever I might want.
What do normies even do with money? I just keep getting more but I don't really spend it on anything other than takeout, weed and rent
Yes and most definitely yes. I work wiith nuclear deterrents. It makes me smile knowing that of there is a war, this is the first place to get blown up.

Literally did nothing all day (worse than it sounds, trust me)
Pays well
>>78045910
Same... I save around £500+ a month, and it just accumulates.
Normies blow it on alcohol, degenerate shit, clothes, etc I guess?
No

This
Nearly save € 700 every month only because I stopped going out ones or twice a week.
Rarely buy clothes anymore, gave up smoking.
Now I just blow it on one big holiday every year.
Salary is fine for someone with no experience and its easy job
No i quitting in 2 monthes for college
$98 USD a year and I'm 24. Can't complain. No loans, no car payment and a low maintenance gf
>>78045910
Go to the bar and pay $4 for a pint. Then you have to buy the girl you are courting drinks so double that. Then its money to get in the clubs and takeaways and a taxi home. There you go. You have just blown £250 in 4 hours. Can't forget the designer clothes and gym memberships.
Fuck yeah, im a financial advisor, and I get commisions and tons of benefits. Throw that extra shit into my roth ira and watch it grow tax free

Is it hard? I was interested in doing that but was worried about the lack of income security.
No because I got laid off yesterday
>>78046749
Dude my job is pretty chill. I work 15 days a month, the catch? It's 11 hours per day and 12 on weekend. Pay is good. And all i do is 4chan and emulate games on my cellphone.
NEET here. Very satisfied. Got a big day ahead of Fallout 4.

>>78044097
I get paid around 140k a year, working half the year. I'm 23 and only have a GED. Sucks when friends die though.
>>78047167
Yeah it is quite common, I don't go out drinking anymore these days, but in the past I saw girls taking full advantage of free drinks and then going with other guys who didn't buy them any drinks (me on occasion lel).
I think the kind of girl who expects guys to buy them drinks will be more interested in you if you don't buy her a drink and show interest. If you don't buy her a drink you are saying something to the effect of 'I don't think you are worth it for me', these type of girls generally want to chase guys that seem above them in some sense.
Yes. Yes. I earn a lot and it's still weird.
>>78044097
Depends on how much I want to work.
Yes, it's comfy.

I invest for a living. I pay no taxes, make thousands a week and I don't answer to a dirty jew.
Feels good man.

The Golden Arches will be paying $15/hr soon in ny. That's decent enough to make it seem tolerable.

O well
I work as cashier
It pays well, $2,400 after gommunist taxes, but I get headache from the stupidity and entitlement of the customers, and some baby boomers are outright punchable

Yes, I run a business. I just bought a £360,000 house in cash.
But im not satisfied - its too stressful and too much work ( i dont even work very hard or long hours).
I just want to live in the woods and build a log cabin, and have a pet wolf and stuff.
Taking into account the amount of work i have to put in (8-10h/d, 6-7 dayd a week) i dont earn much.
Im satisfied with the amount i make, how ever the lack of spare time is ass
No, US military pays shit and the work is not meaningful or satisfying.
>>78044097
Pays pretty well. Gonna get 5253$ this next paycheck for doing some side work.

Caveat: have to live in SF. Shit sucks.

Learn advanced statistics. Read the book "the intelligent investor" and "security analysis" as well as the buffet shareholder letters. It'll take a few months or maybe a year, but eventually if you have a high IQ you'll figure it out.
I'm QA making 35,000 Euro or 39,000$USD.
Literally didn't do any work last week and this week seems to be the same. I hate not having anything to do. Will switch to a developer role hopefully later this year or next.
Yes
Kind of
I hate tax season since that's when I end up working a lot more hours. The two weeks paid vacation is worth it, though.
>>78048660
Have both of them, I suppose I should start somewhere. Do you actually use statistics for stocks? Math is very strong, took shit like PDE, Diff EQ, I just didn't know you could reasonably apply it to investing in a meaningful manner. I suppose I'll actually read those books.
>>78044097

Yes
I don't make a lot but I make like double minimum wage and enough to live very comfortably on my own. I don't buy a lot of useless shit like many of my friends who still live at home though.

I always wanted to get into this. Thanks for the advice, I hope I didn't fell for a meme though

You're virtually getting robbed as we speak if you're just sitting on your money.
>>78049720

I fantasize about having a non-fatal car accident every day I drive to work.
So I deduce from that it is safe to say I am not at all satisfied.
>>78048899
Yes, statistics are just a measure of covering risk. They're not particularly necessary, btu they can give you an edge. Personally I think fundamental analysis of management, balance, cash flow, income statement are all more important than statistical trends of ret urns, stock prices, macro economics news catalysts etc.
Depending on your time frame statistics can be very useful or not at all. The shorter the time period the less quantitative you can be, although I've found a way around this limitation.
No.
I fucking hate my job.
>>78044097
It can at times.
I am. Much better than an office job.
>>78047585
Worked for the utility company and upper management needs a bigger bonus so they decided to restructure and remove our division.
>>78050331
Let me take a guess: Escort
>>78044097
It does. 85k base + bonuses and profit sharing, averaging about 105k a year pretax. Easy hours, rarely crack 40 a week, no official sick day policy and can easily come and go if things come up (doctors appts etc), and can work from home if i need to.
Only 3 weeks vaca though, for now, is the only downside, since our 'raise' policy is also fairly unofficial and would involve me giving up some $$ in exchange for extra weeks which i dont really need at the age of 28.
>>78050235

No genuine German hates to work. You all live to work.
>>78051358
>You all live to work.
that doesn't mean we love it though. It just means it's the law of nature that must be followed.
"I love my work" is a meme scam to make sure progressive thought doesn't endanger the work.
>>78045910
bought a car (and paid it off). traveling. bought a house so i dont need to pay rent like a bitch (a house is basically like a built-in savings fund that can appreciate and make you money if you play your cards right). invest.
for such a "conservative, nationalistic" board you guys are pretty degenerate and generally a bunch of faggots.

I make 20$ an hour at a warehouse. Should I bother finishing my degree?
It pays enough for now, but probably too low for most people.
No idea what I would do with a lot of money. Maybe buy a nice house in the country and raise a family. I'll scale up business when I figure it out.
>>78054238
How long can you do this job? Is it heavy? 20 per hour is higher mid class here in germany. Can you feed your wife and kids? Can you pause your degree for now? Tough decision
>24
>18/hour tech job
>still in school
>saving up to pay off loans
>planning on opening a cyber security firm and work for myself
>>78054563
I'm more or less part time. I could probably do it forever.
Its physically intensive standing for twelve hours but I'm operating mechanical equipment the whole time so its not entirely physical.
I make around 2000$ a month. Would be a lot more but my hours fluctuate by however busy we are so its not steady.
I'm still technically a student but I'm not signed up for any classes. I could still sign up.
I'm satisfied if I can pay my bills and I can buy beer and cigarettes. I am lower middle class and accept that. I won't progress upwards, I can't save money and I'm not exceptionally smart. I don't need a lot of money to be happy.
>>78055735
What's your favorite beer?

Depending on where he lives in the US, $20 is anywhere from good to really fucking good actually, specially if he doesn't have a degree. There are graduates not even making that.

>>78056147
I'm a quarter of the way through with my computer science degree.
My dad is a manager at Time Warner. He tells me he could probably get me in but starting pay there is around 14$ an hour. BUT the potential to move up is very high there while if I stay at this distribution center its basically a dead end job.
I fell for the degree meme and have a shitty liberal art and no job (other than the ones that dont require a degree

>650 on homeware
>310 on shopping
>300 on auto and transport
>200 on bills
>150 on health and fitness
>125 on pets
>80 on travel
>34 on personal care
This is just my credit card that I use for personal purchases and get rewards points for. My wife and I use our checking account to pay for the mortgage, car payments, bills, etc.

my mate picked up an internship on private planes (no degree) and says the role is heavily in demand. Check it out man (areonautical engineer or someshit)

But yes this is in my dream career area, and if I get promoted it'll be worth it.

I'm working at the marketing department of a parisian high fashion brand (Maison Margiela, some of you may know).
