Well Fritz, while delusional fanatic applies, it has a different connotation than what I intend. I wanted to come up with a new word because, having been on 4chan and used its slang or a pretty long time (go ahead and make jabs about me having no life and autism if you will), I thought that "weeaboo" is a perfect word for what it is. It's humorous in its own way, describes a very specific and recognizable type of person, and does so in a way that eschews the need for what would otherwise be a longer and more verbose description. I assume that the last point is especially important to me because I'm American.
To put it simply though, I went with Franceaboo because I know a lot of people, girls specifically, who display all the traits of the weeaboo, but for France instead of Japan, and I'm sure lots of other people do too. It's pretty common amongst American girls, if you didn't know. I just wasn't quick witted enough to come up with Ouiaboo right away.
