Atheism does not assert that no God exists, just that they do not believe one does. Some Atheists say no god does or could exist, while others simply say they do not believe one does. All it means is that I disagree with superstition. Not necessarily dismissive or against it. I personally do not believe in any gods, it seems to me that there are so many examples throughout all human history, and only human history, of various worship and magical thinking.
It also seems self-explanatory when you apply evolutionary theory, a proven concept, that human brains with their emotional and instinctual hard wiring and predisposition to pattern-seeking make mistakes and find patterns where they don't exist very often. We and incredibly succeptable to superstitious thought and preferring "gut feeling AKA muh feels" to rational thought by our very nature. We are not designed to think critically, and are a superficial pretender-race that will ultimately prove unable to sustain itself.
There is no room or need for a god anywhere in that. We're well-adapted animals, our purpose surviving and inventing. The belief in god is less useful as it is far easier to survive in this new world we inhabit. Thus the need for god is also decreased, as we dedicate more time to rationality over superstition and have such abundant access to information. Faith is the only answer to the question of belief in god. Faith is the most cherished thing to believers. Faith is simply dogmatic propaganda, the act of belief without evidence, in most cases the belief AGAINST evidence. The ultimate defiance of rational thought, completely giving in to muh feels. Such a superficial act to prefer your feelgood god over reality, the real sin against humanity is the religions that act as parasitic poisonous pollutions throughout humanity, the vessel through which pure evil is funneled, a structure for allowing the brainwashing of children, thus affecting everyone. There's too many mathematical similarities in the structures of objects in our universe, both out in space and on Earth to pretend everything's purely a coincidence. As far as we know, something can't come from nothing. I believe in a creator or a designer, but I don't believe in a God. However, I just don't see how it's conceivable, at least with our current understanding on physics, that our universe just appeared and that everything can be truly as random as it is.
