Did you know that some male to female transexuals have hormones and brains similar to that of a woman?
So, is saying all trannys are mentally ill still accurate?
>body physically male
>mind producing chemicals in proportions for a female
Yep sounds like a mental disorder to me

Yes.

It's rare, it's not normal and they should get the prescribed treatment, if they seek it. Psychologists say that accepting their dysphoria, and assisting transition is the only foreseeable way to treat them

Yes, after they started to take estrogen.

They don't. That's a bad interpretation of the data.
Some trannies have different brains because they are gay men (who want to be women).

> The research that Russo examined she explained correctly. That is, they were shifted away from what is typical for their sex-at-birth and towards the other sex. Taken by itself, this would indeed seem like strong evidence that transsexuality in biological males is caused by having “feminine” or “feminized” features of the brain, and ditto for females/masculine/masculinized.
> Unfortunately, Russo’s analysis excludes other, closely related research that would have led her to a different conclusion: Namely, gay men and lesbians show the same shifts! That is, the differences are not specific to transgenderism. For example, Russo pointed out (correctly) that males and females differ in “echolike sounds produced by the inner ear in response to a clicking noise” and that transgendered folks are shifted towards what the opposite sex usually shows. Missing, however, was the research showing that the same shift is present in cis-gendered homosexuality (e.g., McFadden & Pasanen, 1998).
> The reason this matters is that, in the MRI study Russo describes (Zubiaurre-Elorza et al., 2013), all of the male-to-female transsexuals were attracted to men, but all of the control males were attracted to women, and all of the female-to-male transsexuals were attracted to women, but all the control females were attracted to men. That is, although the subject groups differed from the control groups in their gender identity (as they must), they also differed in their sexual orientation.
> Although Russo attributes Zubiaurre-Elorza’s MRI findings to gender identity, those findings are better attributed to sexual orientation.

This argument has always bothered me, and I worked out why. It's nonsense.
You can't "treat" people by forcing other people to pretend that men are women. That's unethical.
OK, imagine that religious people threatened to kill themselves unless you started worshiping their God. Would you go along with that?
What if instead of religion they called it a brain condition where you wanted people to say God was real?
See the point? It's not acceptable to do that.
If trannies threaten to kill themselves unless everyone else in the world pretends they are women, then the correct answer is
> "Go ahead. Kill yourself. We won't give in to your blackmail."

30 trillion cells in the body, all with a Y chromosome.
Yes. And they are mentally ill.

Or to put it another way:
"Dysphoria" may be real. But that still does not mean that men are women.
It is not an argument for accepting men are women, and therefore we shouldn't listen to it.
So we can agree that those without hormone imbalances are doing it for attention? Give the attention seekers testosterone so they can never pretend to be women.
