>REMINDER FOR THE 24TH
Counts will get under way when polls close at 22:00 GMT Thursday, 23 June at 382 local centres around the UK. These local results will be declared as the counts are completed before being collated at 12 regional centres, which will also declare the totals for each side. There will be a rolling total so the time at which one side reaches the point of being mathematically unbeatable depends on how quickly the vote are counted and how close the results are running. It is a safe bet that from 4am onwards there should be pretty clear picture of which way the vote is going. A chief counting officer will announce the overall result at Manchester Town Hall. There will be no official exit poll, although some private banks are doing one, but they might not release the results until after the official count. Keep your eye on the Sterling, if it suddenly tanks, then we can guess the results. Yougov is also running a exit poll.

Daily reminder:

The status quo surge for the Scottish referendum, ON THE DAY OF THE VOTE, helped the Remain side by like 5 points compared to what the polls were predicting.

This time voter turnout is on our side, and may gift Leave by 1-2%, but that still means that on the day, there will be a ~3% shift to the Bremain side.

So a 3% lead for Leave in the polls may still not be enough.

We need the last debates to go well, as they did 2 weeks ago, in order to win this. We are currently not winning it, despite what the YouGov polling says, given the aforementioned swing on voting day.

It is winnable still, but we are not yet winning.
>>
>>77958942
But none of them are reliable apart from Ipsos Mori and Yougov, and they don't publish new polls until Thursday.

So really the answer is; no more reliable polls.

So if they've already voted and polling doesn't include them then you're only sampling 80% of the population.

So you immediately remove people who are staunchly Leave from the equation, so of course you should expect to see higher Remain support.

So the polling is fucked then. If 75% of that 20% has already voted Leave then that's a 15% starting point for Leave that will never be picked up by the polls

thats right, for a blip in time. with an average advantage, during the blip, of one point. Now the other side has a 7 point lead. So no consolidation and final big push to hold ground. One timid neonazi beta gardener and your dreams are trashed. Not very solid ground the house is built on it would seem. Looks like Hemsby mate. Know what I mean?

Otherwise that'd be a fucking massive thing to miss.
>>
>Can someone go through this copypasta with me, I just saw it on Facebook and am trying to tear into it

- If EU law ever takes precedence against UK law, it’s only because our elected officials have chosen for that to happen in our own legislation.
- 70% of our laws are made in Europe and we have no say in how they’re made - Most of these laws are European Trading Standards which make trading within the EU much easier as otherwise each country would have their own different product standards, and the concept of a free-trading areas wouldn’t work.
To continue trading with Europe we are STILL going to have to abide by these 'laws'.
- If you actually believe '£350m (£130m) saved' by leaving the EU will actually be spent on the NHS you just have to look at the type of people backing leave (Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage, Michael Gove), do you actually imagine any of that money is going to build a new hospital or end up being spent on more tax cuts?
- Making trade deals with other countries such as China and the U.S. will obviously be made easier if we leave and don't have to consider other EU countries opinions. HOWEVER the amount of things we have to offer these countries is far less if we leave (don't forget our industrial base has shrunk significantly since the 70s), meaning we lose the negotiating power of the EU (which is far better than us on our own) and all deals we will be making have to start from scratch and may take years to agree on.
- Also, immigrants more than pay their way in the economy as a whole, so if the services they use are stretched it’s because the people collecting their taxes aren’t spending it on the right things. If you are sat waiting 4 hours to be seen for a bloody nose thats the governments fault for underspending not Zac Harwood's fault for coming over here and jumping in front of you in the queue.

>>
>>77959886
It depends on how you go about doing it. Pubs in the UK are either (mainly, like 98 percent) brewery, chain or free houses. Free houses are the cheapest to get set up but you lack the support and knowledge that you get from a brewery. Chains are the smartest investment, but they're soulless for the most part and you'll never get a loyal customer base.

Also depends on where you buy, what condition the building is and what you want to offer.

For a small building in the North of England with a licence and brewery backing you'd be looking at 500k all in, you'd need another 300k at least to get it moving.

Also my favourite example: Recent EU port legislation has been proposed. It is universally agreed this will be bad for the UK - all UK MEPs voted against it, trade unions and port authorities are against it. Despite this the EU parliament passed the legislation and it will be forced upon us if we stay

Scientists, historians and environmentalists don't necessarily know shit about politics. If they're edgy socialists point out that EU law makes public ownership of services very difficult - Corbyn would have a very hard time nationalising the railways if we stay in the EU.

The great thing about professional pollsters is that they know what the public are thinking.

They aren't like Yvette Cooper, who can write article in the Guardian acting like everyone agrees with her that we should be taking in way more "refugees".

They are totally connected to public opinion, even if they don't like it, so they are not so susceptible to shilling and lies and deceit.
That's why you can read articles on YouGov and they are so non-partisan compared to newspaper websites.

No, Parliament is bound by the treaties. It's illegal to no recognise the supremacy of EU law under the treaties.

> To continue trading with Europe we are STILL going to have to abide by these 'laws'.

Only companies that trade with Europe would have to abide by these regulations just as every other exporter must do for every part of the world. If you want to export to China, you have to abide by Chinese regulations, but we don't impose Chinese regulations on the whole of Britain. Companies who do not trade with Europe would not need to be stifled by them.

> If you actually believe '£350m (£130m) saved' by leaving the EU will actually be spent on the NHS....

This is entirely dependent on who we democratically elect to spend our tax money. At the moment we have no control over that money.

> HOWEVER the amount of things we have to offer these countries is far less if we leav

These trade agreements aren't even on the cards for the EU because it's so difficult to get 27 members to accept terms. That's why Iceland with a population the size of Glasgow has more trade deals than the EU.

> Also, immigrants more than pay their way in the economy as a whole

Increasing population increases GDP. But GDP is not the final arbiter of success. China's GDP is at least 10 times the size of Switzerlands. Would you rather be born Chinese or Swiss? The reason is because living standards are crushed by an over inflated population - it only benefits corporate interests.

It's not the land as such, it's the overheads and the upkeep. That's everything; insurance, tills, drink, licencing, refurbishment, rates and staff.

The other problem you have is that if you change a place you'll kill off its old customer base.

I do.

But most of my friends are simultaneously mocking Brexiters while crying if Britain-daddy was to leave and abandon us to the Europeans.

To answer your question, a flat no. But I hope Brexit will make the Irish to begin to question.
>>
>>77959441
>- If EU law ever takes precedence against UK law, it’s only because our elected officials have chosen for that to happen in our own legislation.
No. It's because the EU is the supreme executive, legislative and judicial authority over the UK. Our elected officials don't have the right to do that without rolling referendums.

>- 70% of our laws are made in Europe and we have no say in how they’re made - Most of these laws are European Trading Standards
We don't want ANY laws made in Brussels.

>To continue trading with Europe we are STILL going to have to abide by these 'laws'.
No we aren't. Switzerland for example is currently negotiating migrant quotas with the EU as per its referendum on the issue.

>- If you actually believe '£350m (£130m) saved' by leaving the EU will actually be spent on the NHS you just have to look at the type of people backing leave
Not an argument. We can just elect new people if we don't like what they do. But we can't elect new tyrannical bureaucrats if we don't like what THEY do.

>- Making trade deals with other countries such as China and the U.S. will obviously be made easier if we leave and don't have to consider other EU countries opinions.
No. No just finish the sentence there.

>- Also, immigrants more than pay their way in the economy as a whole, so if the services they use are stretched it’s because the people collecting their taxes aren’t spending it on the right things.
We don't want to have to build endless housing, hospitals and schools just because you're addicted to sucking ahmed's cock. It's not sustainable and sucking cocks is degenerate.

>At times, it was hard to tell which side Jeremy Corbyn was actually backing. During his 30 minutes answering questions on Sky News, he said the way Europe had handled the refugee crisis was appalling, opposed the free trade agreement Brussels is trying to negotiate with Washington as wholly wrong, condemned the way multinational corporations can exploit loopholes in employment law, and said he would not tolerate Europe attempting to prevent a future Labour government from fully renationalising the railways.

Failing that, WHAT A SURPRISE, EVERYONE IN THE ESTABLISHMENT WANTS YOU TO VOTE TO KEEP THE ESTABLISHMENT GOING.

Failing that, Remaniacs must have access to psychics, because the last I heard the leader of ISIS was dead already.

Also only 9% of firms sell to the EU but EVERYONE has to obey those regulations.

We have to obey America's regulations when we sell to them; should we join the US?

Any parliament which cannot propose, pass, veto legislation on its own and cannot force it through unelected chambers is not a democratic body.

Also, the EU Parliament has no control over fiscal matters; literally the most important part of government.
