The alt-right loves Europe so much they want to replicate Europe's electoral dynamic of a unrestrained socialist ruling class and a permanent minority party supported by a people made stupid by their impotent rage, well explaining their inclination to gin up unfocused anger just as much as the left does by their habit. They see a 'revolution' of American politics down that path, and not the unrestrained ruling class killing off their freedoms once and for all.

I wonder how much cleansing the establishment will be able to get away with on the heels of Trump's defeat. Though Cruz too was passed over this election cycle, they'll come back strong with the "we tried it once your way" line to push forward another stooge. The grassroots had better stay strong and weather this storm or we'll be fucked for sure for another generation.

I'll still hold onto my delusion that somewhere down the line a president finds a way to force Cruz through onto the Supreme Court. It'll never happen of course, but I can dream.
