Ever since I watched Century of the Self (couldn't recommend it enough) , I've known that Adam Curtis wanted to teach me about the people pulling the strings. Do you like his work? What other documentarists are you into? Am I naïf for falling for his narrative?

fair enough; I mean it's always a mistake to take anything at its face value. If anything, they are interesting subjects that you should be encouraged to look deeper into if yo feel like they are worth your time.

I like Louis Theroux as well, his style is different from Curtis's, far less flamboyant, but I've heard exactly the same thing regarding him and his nu-males fanbase as what you just regurgitated.
