You guys will probably laugh, but yes, pol made me find my faith again - not the one I had as a kid but close. I was fedora-tipping hard until last year or so - not anymore.Thank God not anymore, I would be annoyed by myself by now.
As I said you guys might think it's funny, but I think it makes sense. Here in Germany, people rather rarely talk about religion and must young people either believe in a God superficially or not at all, but rather in science (Dawkins, FSM etc.)
Here are people from all parts of the world. But the input from Americans regarding religion/Christianity helped the most.
I always yearned this belief - THIS belief - without even thinking about it. Just belief. Because you believe, you know.

I guess that's part of American history. All these Christians from different 'sects' trying to find their Creator and living their faith.
It's IN the Americans. They LIVE this. They know exactly what this is, without the need to explain this.

I went from an unbaptized atheist to an unbaptized christian.
