In germanspeak the king leaves when it dies or it's too old-shit

It's the same unless the american is saying that the political leaders don't form part of a elite, wich is crazy taking in count the most likely to win it's a woman married to an ex president from house clinton.

We can agree on this. The US is basically becoming a pseudo-democracy (IE an oligarchy). People forget that the original government of the US according to the founding fathers is a republic, not a democracy. Sovereignty lies within each citizen. Direct democracies do not work because if 51% of the population votes for something the other 49% have nut up and deal with it.

We have precedents of the third branch in both common law monarchism and Continental Monarchism.

I'm blaming a Constitutional Republic that is no longer Constitutional or representative. If functioning it would be the best system, unfortunately over the past several decades it has been infiltrated and corrupted. Our system isn't the problem, the corruption is the problem.

And somehow your solution is to make all of those problems 100% worse rather than clean up our democracy.
>>
>>77845893
>Bitching about semantics makes me more qualified to discuss politics than all of you
Fuck off. In a democracy sovereignty is invested in the group. The "representatives" exercise the power invested by the individual sovereign citizens in a republic. The federal government should be equal to the states and not above them. Just because modern dictionaries have bastardized the two terms to have similar meanings doesn't make them the same.
>>
>>77846453

To acquire the right to vote in a Roman like republic you should own land, have served in the military and be above an age of 28. If you can't achieve that then you are not worthy to vote.

In a Monarchy or Dictatorship you aquire political influence through prowess of some kind, enough to gain the attention of the governing body, that requires work. If you fail you are lazy.

No, it just means you have representatives of "the people"
Whether they are the common citizens, the corporations or just upper class, it's redundant, it doesn't make it automatically a democracy
A constitutional monarchy is a democracy
The constitution dictates the laws, not the king

Then there was the dutch republic which was a republic with a king as head of state, which is weird
There have been also elective monarchies where the king is elected by an assembly (Vatican is an elective theocracy)

Maybe I'm just not as miserable and pessimistic as you. Nations with functioning democracies rank very well in satisfaction, low on percieved corruption, high on HDI, low on crime, low on infant mortality and near or at the top in income per capita. As I've already made clear, I'm not using my country as an example of a functioning democracy.

I know you are probably trolling but i will take the bait. Freedom under democracy only works in extremely homogeneous groups (think small villages). Otherwise it will be a "dictatorship of the majority". Thats why having an enlightned dictator is best: You prevent the dumb masses having a say in important things.

No, dictatorship is the opposite of democracy. You can have freedom under a dictatorship, as you can have a democracy without freedom. Did niggers get freedom in the US 200 years ago?

So now you fall back on "muh democracy works cause Europe is still civilized"

The majority of those nations are in Europe, bar Australia and some other nations. Europe has the worst economic growth of any continent. So much it's starting to fall behind. They also suffer from big issues like Population Decay and Debt which the politicians don't want to fix since they won't get elected again, or is simply not required to get elected again. And also suffer from politician induced issues like the Migrant Crisis brought forth by inaction, criminal "humanism" or just intent and supported by a brainwashed majority.

>you are the one arguing against basic knowledge. Democracy has been proven again and again to not work. Its not natural.

Also, "modern" democracy is not real democracy. Ancient democracy was a duty, not a right. You are supposed to serve the society, not the other way around. There are some interesting papers by Alain de Benoist on the appropriation of democracy by the so called "western democracies" that you should read

How?

The right to free speech is made swiss cheese by anti racism/bigotry laws.

They don't have a right to bare arms.

They also have quite a lot of bans on stuff.

>great success

Just because the people are happy doesn't mean it's success. If you mean economic one bear this in mind: Norway economy is like Angola's, based on oil. Netherlands hold the biggest port in Europe which brings all the money. And the rest tax everyone to shit to pay for welfare meaning it's hard for new businesses to be made.

Fun fact, a Republic is a form of representative democracy with built in laws to ensure freedom of the people. A Republic is a form of representative democracy. A Republic is a democracy. A democracy is a type of government where the people vote on policy and leaders. Did you know that Americans vote in local, state and Federal elections? Most nations in the West are considered democracies. A Republic is a form of representative democracy, one of the many forms of democracy. >>

>At one point my nation had all those positive aspects with full protection for speech, it can be that way again.

How? Most people want the opposite cause have been told so or have been brainwahsed in some cases.

>Not being able to say nigger is preferable to living under a king who orders your whole society around at the barrel of a gun.

A king in a modern society did not go around willy nilly shooting people like you imbly.

A king with sufficient advisors or if you still think the french revolution is not shit a parliament ones would have the knowledge to maintain the required components of state and that is where it would end. A king would not be brainwashed or bought by foreign or internal interest, and he would know from experience to not take too much.

Meanwhile the normal man could do pretty much what he wanted or needed. He could speak whatever he wanted, own whatever he wanted, and the state was in reality incredibly small. What more is there to ask for?
>>
>>77850822
A republic can be a democracy, but it isnt necessarily a democracy. You can have republican dictatorship and a democratic monarchy. You seem to be the one who doesn't understand politics and social sciences very well. Or do you think everyone else is wrong?
>>
Democracy is the best system when done right. The average pleb understands problems much better than the elites because they are faced with them every day, they just can't articulate it very well. The problem is that the elites have monopoly on information and can therefore manipulate people, but more importantly they can manipulate the politicians. It is obvious that politicians are more scared of the journalists and media than they are of the people and this is because the media has the power to end the career of any politician. The way to solve this is to have more direct democracy like Switzerland and make private owning of media outlets illegal. Journalists who get caught lying must also be punished.
>>

Democracy can only work when comprised of strong and rational people who want the best for the nation.
Is it better than a working monarchy? NO.
Is it better than an authoritarian monarchy tyrant? Of course!
Would a revival it bring new ages of cultural flourish? Of course!
Democracy worked in the beginning, but we are too big for a country democracy to work.
Either splinter regionally, submit to big authoritarian, corrupt government, or a fair king.

You want to make a political party? Too bad. Free speech is banned there.

Now it is, but it wasn't intended. Our founding fathers knew that Greece failed under overly democratic policies, and Rome prospered under a rule of law. All a focus on democracy does is create a government muddled with bureaucracy and undermines the Bill of Rights.

Democracy is basically an institution that protects the "rights" of every citizen.
I put quotations around "rights" because they can be oppressive to others who have to uphold these rights.
A republic is subject to being manipulated by anti-positive narratives.

That is why I say a homogeneous, (limited-)constitutional Monarchy is the best government structure for whites.
