More and more as the days pass, I feel that Trump has no chance.
Hillary just has so much more on her side: the historic possibility of being first woman president; the news media on her side; most people on social media on her side; all of whom which constantly call Trump racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc. which immediately dismisses any real discussion of Trump's main issues.
The Trump train just no longer feels like it is going at full speed without brakes. Now that it's narrowed down to two candidates, the fight is more focused. The opposition is much, much more focused on taking down Trump now that he's a real threat.
Furthermore, Trump himself doesn't really seem prepared. He is doubling down on controversial issues and becoming more controversial rather than going towards the center. Yes he will win the red states easily but he needs the purple states to win. What is his strategy, his grand plan? He needs to start doing it now instead of keep generating negative press.

I mean, the vast majority of American voters just go with a gut feeling in the voting booth. Most people usually go with whatever their family, friends, or the media have given them a general, loose idea about each candidate. This is why ethnic minorities especially always vote predictably among party lines.
Also, the average American voter is not well educated on politics. I really have doubts that most voters watch the news everyday and fully realize how much a huge bias there is. Most people don't even read the articles that their friends on Facebook links them. They just read the headline and go with the flow.

Presidential elections have always been more than mostly rigged in the US, but they've always managed to maintain an air of suspension of belief. Like the holodeck on the Enterprise. You know it's fake, and they know it's fake. But it's real-enough that you can almost ignore that and really get into it.
However the Bernie and Trump campaigns come along and tear all of that apart. Bernie never, ever had a chance. Though he stayed in so long it was irreparably damaging to the Dems.
