I'm from the Ozarks. Although we have deep cultural roots from the old world, we have a unique culture. A lot of it is centered around craftsmanship and music (of which is very distinct), but storytelling is pretty big too. We have a lot of very famous scientists and artists, but I find it cool that especially in the older generations you can see how traditions are still rich.
