Should he have occupied it? Hard to say. Keep in mind also that Hitler acted in the face of European and international geopolitical developments and probably felt that because a war was being foisted upon Germany Czechoslovakia would be of strategic importance in an armed conflict.

Lol, the truth is that not much "science" has actually gone in to studying the Holocaust. Wiesenthal confided that he literally made up random numbers of dead Jews in his studies and just made up numbers of transportations of Jews between camps.
As far as hard science goes, no one is allowed to do actual physical studies of the supposed extermination camps and those that have done so have found that the extermination of 6 million Jews is literally impossible not only for a physical standpoint but also from a purely logistical and technological viewpoint. So don't pretend that 'academia' has anything to do with science and factuality when it comes to the study of Holocaust Mythology.
