Is craft beer red pilled?

The only people I see drinking this stuff are numales.

I'm starting to think jews are behind craft beer. It would explain why it costs twice as much.

No shit, you just figured that out?

Some are pretty good and alot of people like to drink local brewed beer it's kinda like eating farm stand fruit or vegtables it just tastes better when you know it's made locally
But there is a problem alot of people drink because "LOOK AT ME I'M DIFFERENT OH YOU DON'T LIKE THIS BLACK LICORICE IPA LMAO DUDE ONLY PEOPLE WITH A FINER PALETTE DRINK CRAFT BEER LOL"
>>
It's much better than the big manufacturer's swill. Beer snobs should al be shot, but the good beer can stay.
>>
>>77641811
If you can't tell the diffence between a small brew local beer and the piss water that is budweiser then no it's not worth it. Just stick to drinking bud with your underage friends behind the supermarket.

But if you aren't destitute and have taste buds then yea you should shop around and find beers you really like. Finding new stuff is half the fun of drinking 2bh fàm.

Beer snobbery is attractive to betas because it allows them to feel superior for doing one of the easiest things to do in the world.

Craft beer is a shitty meme. Mostly the guys who make them aren't good brewers and they contain all sorts of shit. Hence why you get terrible hang overs from them. They are even inconsistent with the alcohol level.

i don't really see how anyone who isn't incredibly insecure would care that "numales" drink different kinds of beer, and would even decide against drinking something they might like because someone else drinks it.

what's wrong with you people?
>>
>>77641811
The beer world is a-political and has no pill, red or blue.
Craft beer is more expensive than macro beer, because it costs more to make. American lagers use less ingredients and supplement the grain bill with cheaper adjunct grains.
Craft beer is usually stronger and more flavorful, which means more ingredients, especially hops which are fairly expensive compared to grains. That isn't to say the mark-up on beer in general isn't ridiculous, but if your product costs more to make, you are entitled to charge more for it.

It's an interesting experience trying a bunch of craft beers but the market has been flooded by every hipster thinking they are master craftsmen who just brew piss water with too many hops and mark it up $5 a bottle. Whats even worse is people buying the piss beer and pretending it's good.

I've spent well over $1000 on different kinds of single bottle craft beer and while I've had good experiences, it's like a 1/10 chance you actually will get something good.

Just stick to bourbon and black strap rum, most bang for your buck

If you try over $1000 worth of beer and only like 1/10th of them, you might just not like beer that, much, man. I'm not saying every craft beer needs to be an orgasm in a glass, but most craft beers I've had at least been markedly better tasting than an American light beer or Eurotrash lager.

Just don't drink IPA often because hops give you tits.

Honestly, I went through a craft phase but I couldn't justify the price for local stuff. I'll still grab some Sierra Nevada(if you can call them craft). After awhile you start to realize that all the beers are the same and you're not going to find a beer that blows your mind.

I'm drinking Tyskie for the first time tonight and its alright. Colder the better with this one.

I wouldn't say most. Some "craft" beers are notorious attempts at getting into the market. For instance, Blue Moon is owned by Miller-Coor's. Some are bought, yes. Goose Island and a couple others have been acquired by AB-InBev. But I would not say the majority of breweries have been bought, especially the joe-blow smalltown ones that barely distribute outside their tri-county area.

craft beer in general can be hit or miss. i don't care for ipa's bc the hops are overwhelming, but everything else is palatable, depending on my mood.

Officers had staked out the brewery to observe people supposedly consuming on premises. No charges were filed; Magee admits "no one was willing to sell it to them, but everyone was willing to give it to them for free." The ordeal was eventually commemorated with a beer named Undercover Investigation Shut-down Ale.

I'll break it down for you:

Craft beer ranges in quality and price drastically but is frequently higher in price. It's been around forever and there is nothing wrong with enjoying it. However, recently it blew up in popularity in the college aged crowd and basically became a meme. Local craft beer specializing pubs opened up all over the place and they are a hotspot for hipsters numale cucks.

There's no conspiracy its just the market reacting to a trend that has been steadily gaining popularity.

Most people who actually drink beer on a regular basis and aren't cucks will stick with a reasonably priced domestic beer sold in 15 or 24packs for convenience and the fact that it is always the same 100% of the time and very easy to drink.

Severe alcoholics will stick to the high % cheap-o beers that taste like literal garbagewater.

Things may vary in the USA but I doubt most regular joe beer drinkers are regularly buying $17.99 4-Packs of some hipster douchebag IPA craft beer

It's true, Anheuser-Busch/InBev owns loads of craft beers and brews directly in Bud breweries.

I hope you like:
Bass Ale
Blue Point (any blue point)
Goose Island

That's only 3, they are pretty agressive in knocking out their competition in the market. If you follow it, they purchase Literally Who? tier breweries on a regular basis.

I work in the industry and I do follow it. They own a couple dozen out of literally thousands.
And even if they do buy certain breweries, it's not like they start churning out Bud Light, so what's the problem other than their parent company being dickbags?

I tried to be a beer snob but most microbrews and craft beers taste the same as macrobrews or are shit. There's only so many times you can drink "Hoopin Hoppin Wacky Stout with [awful fruit pairing]" before you realize you're wasting money. I recommend Deschutes or Founders if you want to look like a beer hipster but not have to suffer. Most Belgian stuff is good too, enjoy it before it becomes Haram

I live in Portland, ME, the city with the most craft breweries per population. The hipsters in this city go wild for the stuff. They're willing to pay $6.50 for a pint, even though all the beer is [insert unique flavor] IPA. It's hard to make a good brew, and most craft brewers can't do it successfully, so they have no choice but to pour in truckloads of hops to mask the beer's inherent deficiencies. It's no coincidence that 85% of craft beers are IPAs.
>>
>>77641811
Drink what you think tastes good. Do not care what others may/may not drink. You are not forcing your drink on them. They should not do the opposite.

I think IPAs became so popular because they taste vastly different from other beers. They're also distinctly American in flavor. American hop strains tend to have citrus or pine/resin/marijuana flavors and aromas in contrast to the earthy or herbal flavors of European hops, so perhaps a little American pride goes into the appeal. I'm getting burnt out on IPAs too, but I'd be lying if I said I a nice piney IPA didn't hit the spot once in a while.
It seems like sour beers are gaining popularity, as well as a lower IBU alternative to the West Coast IPA, the "New England-Style" IPA, which is less bitter from less early-addition hops, but keeps the distinct hop flavors in the late addition.

I think beers like Bass are the reason why the craft beer scene is lagging in Britain. Our standard beers (such as Bass, which is a fairly decent representation of a typical British ale) are better than the American macro brews

Having these slightly better than average ales meant there was never really a market for craft beers.

Real ale isn't a style of beer. It's just a live-fermenting English ale.
There's also no point in comparing English and American IPAs. America took England's lead on a style that fell out of favor in the Olde Country and used their own hop strains, but they're essentially completely different styles of beer, now.

Which is why I recommend them wheat beers. They are typically not very malty or bitter, the wheat gives the beer a refreshing citrusy zing, and they are either flavored with spices (witbiers) or the strain of yeast produces fruity flavors (hefeweizens). Some wheat beers are also kinda sweet and if they aren't you can throw in an orange or lemon slice to make it fruitier. The perfect recommendation for somebody who doesn't normally like beer.
