Crew wrap parties, VIP opening parties for shit, anything nerdy/creative being made around here im at the events. I was not at E3 this year, but was last year and hit most of the parties after which lots of people do. They are often closed parties for industry only, or you need to know someone to get in. most guys are married 30-somethings with a kid or have steady girlfriends and always know someone through someone.
Creative industry parties are not some big wasted clusterfuck, its everyone just having a good time and maybe a few random guys get a bit sloppy, its always the same guy every year though. No guy is there slipping drugs into a girls drink who used to work with his coworker, this is not a frat party. The circle is way too small and connected, if you are an asshole at work word gets out if you apply someplace new and you cant get hired.
