We haven't heard much of the Gárda recently, but they are very much around. Interestingly, the Gypsies have been, for the most part, rather quiet lately as well.
As for the Jobbik, they are slowly, but surely gaining popularity. There are tensions in the party as Vona is trying to show a more civilized face; much to the dismay of the more radical members. The radical right has always been full of tensions like this, but unlike the left, they are capable of putting their differences aside for a common goal.
The sad thing is that the Jobbik is the only political party in Hungary. The FIDESZ or Alliance of Young Democrats is a cabal of old oligarchs and their useful scum and the leftist parties are gaggles of incompetent fucks who hate each other as much as they hate Orbán and the Jobbik. As for the far left, well, they basically don't exist. The last "very liberal" party (the Free Democrats) we had ceased to exist before the 2010 elections.
