What the fuck causes this? Why do these two patches of blue exist in bumfuck nowhere, Conservativeville? I'm guessing the one along the Mississippi is due to blacks, however, why the one in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois? There are NO major cities around, as this is largely outside Chicago's area of effect, so what gives?

The reaosn why it exists in Wisconsin is because Milwaukee and the areas surrounding it are the most segregated cities in the US, and therefore there are alot more democrats where there are blacks and democrats in power. But I like it like that, I love wisconsin, where I live - 15 min in any direction will either take you to a big city or remote forests / farmland. And best part - No races other than white unless you go to those areas.
