There is internet in Cuba but it is limited to government-owned internet cafes and is heavily monitored.
I got the flag several months ago when some (supposedly) Cuban guy did an AMA here. I believe he was a legitimate Cuban since he displayed naivety about the outside world and tended to avoid questions about the government.
