I've come to realize that there is a God, gods or some god-like group which ensures the continuity of Life and all existence. I've transcended my hatred for the Jews. Take for instance science. This creates a model in our minds which is far from reality, and changing this model is only possible with extreme difficulty. If we understood the Electric Universe Theory is closer to the reality of our world, we would understand what drives our weather, global warming, has created the features of our planet, and even drives our biology. We would understand the unifying force of nature. But this would create a domino effect, and we would unravel our past, we would make sense of the myths and legends our ancestors handed down to us, and we would eventually come up with answers for our past and realize what is coming in the future.
You see, I believe that planets are like batteries. They are born, support an abundance of life, but over time this energy diminishes. Eventually, the planet dies. I believe our planet is about to die, and this global civilization is the grand finale.

The real enemy is this failure to live first hand you mentioned. Never heard it expressed like this, but I've felt for a while now that lack of authentic impulse to action is true poverty of spirit.
