At least his was an actual response to the tweet. Shrillary's tweet had no content, they could have spent weeks coming up with it and then saving it for a desperate situation where they quickly needed a reply, or just for fun. It doesn't reference anything, no occasion, no tweet, nothing. Trump's team could've answered immediately with pic related and it would've had equal meaning. Heck, even more, as it could've only been used in response to an attack, so at least it would've been an appropriate reaction compared to something that could just be dropped randomly at any time.

Frankly, no. Clinton (or at least someone on her campaign) lobbed him a change-up right down the middle and he swung high, inflated by his own ego. Sure, he got on base, but it should have been a home run. All he had to do was say "You would know a thing or two about deleting personal data." or any number of direct things along those lines, but he had to try and jam in an unrelated insult that was obviously stuck in his head since he was under criticism from the Republican party for being unable to upscale his campaign ground force and didn't even phrase the comeback in a way that made it immediately obvious that it was even a comeback.
