Then Islamic clerics started admonishing science for not respecting the magnificence of God's creation. This is why Islamic societies are COVERED in these geometric patterns and why they're so uppity about depicting Mohammad. The so-called "arabic numerals" were made by Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi, who was a Persian who travelled to the House of Wisdom in Baghdad to study.

Man could turn into a demon or angel depending on how he developed on earth. In addition ideas about strict adherence to the church and it's moral code were dropped, man was supposed to cultivate himself and hold himself up.
Reinnsance theology was crazy awesome. People believed that angels were actually humans that had developed them-self to super-human levels on earth and that "God" was actually the collective of all human knowledge.
