It's banned in some countries and would require them to either not have it available there (loss of sales) or to have different versions of the game for where it is illegal (higher costs). Capitalism spoke higher, and swastikas were cut. Sounds simple to me.

It's a historic game. Paradox put a hell of a lot of effort into their games, and overall I think they're a good studio.
