Never visited but fathers parents met there after the war and grandfather was fluent Greek speaker so my family's always been a supporter of the country.
Greece seems irredeemably fucked as far as I can see. Seems to be slowly moving away from EU (which is to a great extent responsible) and back towards Russia and other Orthodox countries which is nice to see. Here's hoping Constantinople finally gets reconquered one of these days.

Nowhere in the West - things might be economically better for now but it's a sinking ship. Maybe UK if it finds it's balls and leave the EU. Big Greek community there obviously so you'd have a ready made support network. Greeks well viewed in UK generally too. Best long-term bet is one of the Slav countries. They have lots of problems but at least they haven't deliberately let millions of hostile foreigners permanently settle within their borders so should be more stable over the coming decades than the likes of Germany, France, Sweden, USA etc.
