What's the difference between communism and pure socialism? Is pure socialism just communism and we just refer to socialism as a mixed model?

Socialism has nothing to do with a welfare state. You get a welfare state from a free market with high taxation just like in Sweden.
Socialism is that everyone collectively owns the means of production (and distribution of goods).

Social Market Capitalism is what we have in Sweden and Germany. Everything is privatized and it's basically free market capitalism, except with ridiculously high taxes so that politicians can steal money to fund their own private businesses and genocidal agendas.
