The main reason that people like Donald Trump is that they are betas, and they did not have father figures. Donald Trump fulfills the piece of them that is missing, and they think that they can finally feel alpha by identifying with Donald Trump.
Bernie supporters are just mindless bandwagoners, there is no bizarre psychological phenomenon there like there is wth Trump supporters.
