I'm pretty sure the last group of stats means that if you correct for race then black people and white people are within 1%.

The last group represents total percentages of crime by group. So Black people constitute 13.2% of the population and white people are 62.1%, yet black people commit 37.4% of all crimes and white people commit 36.9% of all crimes.
So this shows that black people commit crimes at a rate about 5 times greater than that of whites. The first group reflects this as well:
1047 / 219 is about 5
Most black criminals are repeat offenders. You would think one serious crime puts you behind bars these days.....

I looked back at the video and the guy that worked out the math used 1047 instead of 1057.
using 1057 blacks committed 37.7% of all violent crime.
According to the FBI there were 390,233 violent crimes committed.
390,233 x .377 = 147,117
According to the FBI, blacks committed 147,002 violent crimes. Rounding error would account for the difference.

What did you do to normalize the data here? I think I did it differently when I just worked it out.
Also... I used the data from here https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/table-43
and used the absolute values instead of the per 100k values and came out with blacks committing 37.7% of TOTAL violent crimes.

I used the data op posted and normalized it by %population. Blacks do 5 times the crimes whites commit, but are only 1/5 of population, so you'd expect the factor at around 25 (5timesMoreCrime*(1/5)^-1). and that's what we get 61,35/2,73 = 22,5 (normalized black crime/normalized white crimes = normalized factor)

Alright black guy seems as I get older I've noticed I get a little more angrier at somethings in life. Mainly from work, not saying I'll reach a point where I would do some incredibly drastic, but how can I just calm down
