The Leave camp has more charisma to it. We've got Boris and Nigel, who are both extremely popular politicians, and even Gove has more charisma than Call-Me-Dave and his supporters. I think the Remain camp shot themselves in the foot by harping on about the economic dangers of leaving as well. They brought out this big parade of bank heads and buisness leaders to fret and worry about how we'll all lose our jobs and wind up poorer, and it seems to have left people feeling annoyed and patronized more than anything else.
Hell, as much as we might rag on the THE BANKERS THE BONUSES crowd, there's a lot of working class people who are instinctively going to go against whatever some smug, rich twat in a suit tells them to do.

I don't think the UK will break up if Brexit happens. Scotland is the only constituent country proposing to leave the UK and they can point to their most recent referendum as testament to the people wanting to leave (even though they lost), but with so much attention given now to the EU than was two years ago, I have a feeling a lot of the people who voted for Scotland to leave the UK back in 2014 will not be pleased with the idea of Scotland joining the EU.
The SNP have gone on record to say that they intend to join the EU should Scotland leave the UK and I reckon that will seriously work against them this time around.

The SNP also still need the go-ahead from Westminster to hold another referendum. So in theory, all they can do is stamp their feet and sulk. My worry is that if Cameron loses the EU referendum, he'll okay a second Scottish indy ref out of spite before resigning. And I'll end up leaving the EU for a few precious months before being split from the UK and forced back in.

Scotland has threatened a second referendum if a Brexit occurs but I doubt it will happen as they are pussies.
Northern Ireland has no economy except call centers and will collapse without EU funding and Osbourne said that this too so that rules out Westminster funding Northern Ireland after Brexit. Problem is that Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom don't really want NI as it's a powerkeg and worse than runny shit so what happens I don't know but more riots most likely.
Wales I'm not sure but they are called England 2.0 so they will most likely do alright.
