Holy shit I've been there, it's a baseball park for some shitty farm team that the Mets own
Fun fact, Trump's dad bought the land in the 60's and was going to turn it into a high rise but the city wouldn't change the zoning laws because they're jews so he rented it out to a guy named Kaufman who spent lots of his fortune making it an amusement park again with lots of the old rides.
Trump sold it to the city when he realized he would never get to build homes there but he made sure to put a clause in the sale that forced the city to rent the area out to Kaufman for a reduced price(I think it was like 1/4th of what other people were paying I forget)
Other amusement park owners near there got buttmad and bitched until in the 80's they decided to not continue to rent to Kaufman anymore.
Only thing left there from the original Steeplechase Park is the parachute ride which is the big red cellphone tower looking thing if you ever go or look at pictures(built in 1903)

When I first start coming here I didn't take "degeneracy" as anything more than a joke.
Whatever the faults those people had (and I'm sure I'm looking at this with rose-tinted glasses in many ways), it's absolutely incredible how well put together those people and their cities seem. Clean, fit, sharply dressed, relatively fit, Even the poor people and slums seem to be remarkably organized and....respectable in some way. Even the contemporary white middle-class looks worse off than them in a sense.
We've truly regressed in a lot of ways, but hey at least we have gay marriage and iPhones, they certainly make up for it.

I commute to a city with a 50% black/40% hispanic population, and it really hurts to drive through the non-white parts of the place. The white area is well kept and beautiful, but after that you see what was once beautiful architecture and and an overall comfy as hell place to live essentially reduced to crumbling ruin due to a lack of upkeep leaving everything in a constant state of disrepair.
Remember that as the white population goes down, scenery like this will keep becoming more commonplace. This is our future.

I still think it was better off then than now. Sure war might've been around the corner, but considering the fear we constantly feel with constant terror attacks ON OUR HOME TURF, and the lack of societal cohesion brought on by multicultural and multi ethnic society. Yes, people suffered from a lack of a safety net, and I'm not even complaining that we have one now. During the 60s-90s we basically had a top notch society in most of Western Europe because of it. I dislike now though, how it's actively being abused by third world hordes.

Property in Detroit is hilariously expensive. The mayor setup a program where you could buy property for cheap (IE, $1,000 for a house and the land it's on) on the condition that you fix it up (Several thousand dollars investment) and live in it for 6 months (surrounded by niggers).
Of course, you could just buy up vacant lots, tear out the cement, and farm. But the ground is filled with crisscrossing lead pipes (The city has no money to tear them out, and the Michigan State Government has been desperately trying to stop Detroit from taking even MORE money). It's also illegal to just tear out pipes yourself.
Detroit is MASSIVELY corrupt. Not in the hilarious way, in the depressing way. Nothing gets done unless you're paying off everyone. So you'll probably have to pay just as much in bribes as you did to buy the land.
You'd also have the problem that is the media. The moment some clickbait """""""""""""""journalist""""""""""""""" catches wind of New Rhodesia you can bet your ass the city will crack down.
